i have highblood pressure and work for subway and want to know if there is a better way to lose weigh i walk everyday but sometimes fall off the wagon

You need to walk 30 min a day, every day, non-stop walking (not walking along, stopping, etc).
Drink lots of water. AND.....cut out all flour and all sugar.
If it says "sugar" or corn syrup, fructose, etc in the top 4 ingredients, you cannot eat it . No flour at all, that even means whole wheat flour. Do this for 60 days, you will drop about 3-4 pounds a week. After 60 days, you can have WHOLE WHEAT flour---not "enriched whole wheat", but it has to say 100% whole wheat.

I lost 56 pounds in 3 months by watching what I ate and stuck to a 2500 calories a day diet.I stayed away from fatty foods.I stayed away from sugary foods and snacks.I ate plenty of carbs like bread, beef only twice a week.Plenty of fish and poultry.No sodas , but drank plenty of fruit juices like grape and grapefruit juice.I was not on nor did I do any exercises like walking or jogging.I still had late night snacks as long as it was within my 2500 calories per day . I also had heart burn from most anything I ate for some 30 years.After about a month on this diet, I have no heart burn and still none after 10 years of doing this.

I'm 43, 6' and 166lb.
