Okay there is this one girl in my grade that literally needs her eyeliner taken away from her. She has bright blue eyes and uses the darkest possible eyeliner. And it's like one cm thick too. It looks awful. Any ideas on how to tell her nicely that she looks like a racoon?

OMG...I have a friend in my grade who's just like that; she has blue eyes and wears really dark eyeliner. What I said stopped her from wearing dark eye makeup. All you have to do is have a regular conversation then talk about her and her eye makeup. Just tell her she has pretty blue eyes that's hiding in the dark makeup. Suggest wearing it a little lighter and hopefully if she is a good person who isn't angered easily, she will say okay, thanx. Hopes this helps!!!!

There is no nice way to do this; anything you could say would be rude.
People have the right to do as they please; get over the idea that you can tell other people what to do.
If this is how she wants to wear her make-up that's her choice.
If she were to ASK you, you could say that she has such lovely eyes, and could go a little easier on the liner -- but that's only if she specifically asks for advice. (The word 'raccoon' should NOT be used in your reply.)
You can't control everyone else -- or anyone else, for that matter; deal with it.

In conversations with her, tell her what pretty bright blue eyes she has and then tell her that when she puts all that black stuff around her eyes it hides her blue eyes. Be truthful with her. Tell her black eyeliner goes a long way and that if she really wants to make her eyes pop, a brown or taupe liner would really be best.

Give her tips on how to make her eyes pop or something. Invite her over and ask her if you can give her a makeover, see what she says! If she says sure, after you're done, compliment how wonderful she looks and she might continue doing her makeup like that.

ok go up to her and tell her the truth say"try to lighten up on the eyeliner it makes ur beautiful blue eyes look like they are surronded by a bottomless pit of black

say, uh oh. you're eye liner is smudged and suggest that she wipe it off. or say, you have such pretty eyes, you should try skipping the eye liner and see how many compliments you get. if this doesn't work, tell her that you think her eye liner is too thick and would be pretty if she just didnt wear any. hope this helps.

Just say...
hey today your eyeliner looks a little to thick, try to make it thiner tomorrow.
she doesn't have to "lighten up" on the eyeliner, she just needs to make in thinner.
if she objects to your comment you could say "i'm just telling you what i think." and leave it.

Who cares what you think! She may be perfectly happy with it the way it is! What if someone thought your hair style made you look like a treasure troll. Would you care? would you change it?
Just leave her alone.. sheesh!
