I would say a shoe that is the most versitle, like a ballet flat. You can wear them to school and to formal occassions.

i admire Etnies, Osiris and Circa's they're all fantastic shoes no matter the form. or you never bypass incorrect with old college trucks. Slip ons hmmmm in keeping with risk checkered or merely undeniable black

It all depends on what you like, or what you're interested in.
For instance, I like slip-on Vans a lot.
They look good and they are comfortable.
