my internet speed is still slow ?

i had a 64kbps connection and i was using skype for making calls....was having a tough time talking due to slow internet speed...so i upgraded to 256 kbps...but the problem is still there ?? also i dont feel any difference in my net speed ?? any solutions ?

tell da broadband ppl they might increase it

Check the processor what you are having..?
For broad band( 256 kbps) ......usual dial up modem cannot help..

Clear all temp, internet files, protect system with antivirus & spayware & run check disk - defregment.
