i own a repair shop ,and parts and labor all together shouldn't cost you over 200 bucks for everything on this one, that would be the most it could cost, depending on how much they have to pay for parts it may actually be a little less, good luck i hope this helps.

I paid $90 for the master cylinder and a small amount for new brake fluid plus $100 for labor in my 2004 Camry.....so around $200 is a good total estimate.

If it is the master cylinder they cost around 100-150 dollars depending on the model car and if they have power brakes or not,and you could expect about 100 to change it out and bleed the brakes.

Depends on your car. If there is a lot of work required to replace it the more you pay. Here in Miami, FL a written estimate is required by law so if that is the case where you are you can just visit a couple of repair shops en get some estimates.
I estimate the labor to be around $100

No one can answer this for you, accurately. We do not know what the problem is. You've given us a symptom, but there are other possibilities although I would admit that an internal master cylinder leak past the cup seals is very likely. Since this problem has an affect on the safety of you, your passengers and other people on the road, I strongly recommend taking it to a professional repair facility for evaluation and repair, and as far as the cost goes, does it really matter in relation to your life and the lives of other people on the road? It must be done right.
