I just found out that I am pregnant, by taking a home pregnancy test yesterday.
The conception date I calculating, from the online calculator, is a bit confusing.
My last period was short. It was Feb 11th- 13th of last month. After that I intercourse with my husband every day until the 19th, because I went out of town, and came back on the 28th of Feb. The conception calculator is telling me that I had my conception on the 25th
Of Feb. How is that possible, if I didn’t have sex from the 20th-28th.
Any help would be very much appreciated 
Thank You

Congratulations

Just make a doctors appointment and the doctor may refer you for an ultrasound to determine babies age.

I had three ultrasounds with my first child just to determine his age and he was still a week over due.

All in all you don't really have to know the exact age of baby most due dates are just estimates.

Good luck and all the best with the pregnancy.

The conception calculators are based on at 28 day cycle, and each cycle being 5-7 days long. It is possible that you got pregnant before of sourse, but the calculators are not always acurate. The real way to tell is when you go for your 20 week scan they can give you a more accurate due date and then you will be able to recalculate from that.

Congrats

Sperm can stay interior of you for various days (i've got waiting everywhere from 3-7, even in spite of the shown fact that 3-5 is extra probable). So in the journey that your final era replaced into March 3, in accordance to a "suitable" 28 day cycle, you ovulated on the seventeenth. it is attainable it replaced right into an afternoon before or later. yet whilst it replaced into the seventeenth, intercourse as early because of the fact the twelfth might have in all probability gotten you pregnant. So unprotected intercourse some days after a 5-day long era ended ought to bring about sperm it quite continues to be around once you ovulate. it is surprisingly probable that your ex husband is the father. by the 21st (once you had unprotected intercourse with the different guy) the egg does not have been around--they simply final approximately 24 hours after ovulation, except they are fertilized. on the different hand, if ought to nevertheless have been around on the 18th, despite if there wasn't nevertheless sperm left over from before. Congratulations on the toddler!

two things, if your period was that short, you may be further along than you think.. also sperm can live up to 72 hrs or so.. so you could have gotten pregnant from having sex on the 19th, and the conception calendar isn't perfect, if it's off by even a couple of days, the sperm from intercourse on the 19th could have still been active when you ovulated.. did your pregnancy test look really dark? or did you test at all last cycle, what if your 2 day period was just implantation or a light last period and you were already pg!

If you use the calculator on babycentre.co.uk you can change the length of the cycle because not everyone has a cycle that is 28 days long.

Good luck
