My grandma (dad's mom) Was in charge of babysitting me and my younger sister one day. My mom had cancer and my dad had to take her to an oncology appointment. My grandmother did not raise my dad because she's a selfish mean old nag and wanted to sleep around, so dad was raised by his own grandparents. At this point in time, dad was trying to rebuild his relationship with his mother and trusted her to watch me and my sister for a couple hours. Grandma got tired of taking care of us shortly after they left and locked us outside in the yard. My sister fell on a rake and Grandma blamed me for it. I don't recall ever being left alone with her again.

We used to roller skate in Grandma's basement. We used to have those metal skates that fit over your shoes.
