Have any of you ever been one of those actors in one of those on-stage hypnosis shows?

How do they keep from audiences seeing the same actors twice with the amount of shows they do? They must hire actors locally because I doubt they could afford to have so many people travel with the show.

They are not actors. I went to one and my best friend ended up on stage. It all has to do with how well a person can concentrate on the suggestions being given at the start of the show. Not everyone can be hypnotized as it depends on the level of concentration they can achieve. So in their own way the members of the audience who allow themselves to follow the suggestions being given are volunteering themselves to be on stage.

They're not actors. Hypnotism is real. I am not an entertainer, but know several. I am a Certified Hynotherapist. The mind is an amazing thing. I have video of my late wife, twice under hypnosis. It can be a very powerful tool to help yourself and/or others and it has been well documented. This isn't pro wrestling....

Are you sure they are actors? I went to one while in college (soooooooo many yrs ago). I went in v.skeptical and I did not allow myself to be one of the audience that got hypnotized. Those that did ran up to the stage and he made them do all sorts of stuff, but then he kept only 2 and he regressed them. One was from the 18 century or something and talked about her life, but the other was borught back to the moment of her deatha nd she was being beaten to death in her past life. I don't think the hypnotist wanted that and he brought her back and said she won't remember that, etc. I don't think the guy I saw used actors.

I've been to a couple of the shows. They take volunteers from the audience.
