use a mild kitten shampoo.
be sure to blow dry them, cuz their coats will be wet to their little boney bodies. wrap them in a towel and do one of them at a time.
try lambert kay clean 'n fresh spray in an orange bottle
it will freshen them up, i use it on my dog.
Try putting kitty litter in the bottom of the cage to absorb the urine, that's the stinky smell.
add cedar chips to your litter mix.
the more you feed them, the more they poop.
stick with green pellet food, and a few little chops of carrots for snacks when hand feeding.
feed them romaine lettuce, ice berg head lettuce goes right thru them like water.
When you change the cage, put a laundry plastic basket upside down with a brick on top and let them eat grass outside, the outdoors will freshen up their fur.
good luck, keep them warm, blow dry them on low, and dont' let them catch a cold. they do!

Yes you can. Just make sure the water is only about 2 inches deep and warm, DO NOT use any type of dog or cat shampoo, the chemicals are too strong for small pets...The best shampoo I've used is squeaky clean by super pet..it's gentle and made for all small pets. It smells good and if you happen to not rinse all of it off, it's safe for them to ingest a very small amount. Super pet also makes small animal bath spray, where you just spray it on and don't have to bathe them.
You really shouldn't blow dry them either, it could be very tramatic, just use a towel and play with them untill they are dried off....
hope it helps

My guinea pigs were fairly afraid of the water in the starting up yet they quickly were given used to it, the more youthful you bathtub them the more advantageous powerful they are going to be with bathing in the destiny. attempt utilizing the shampoo next time. I bathtub my guinea pigs even as they are dirty or start up to smell. i got here across that giving your guinea pig its time-honored food after its bathtub can help because it ought to help them to conquer their concern, they then start up to affiliate the tub with food.

Make sure that the water is only 2 inches deep, that you use a rabbit shampoo, keep the hair dryer on low, and make sure that they are fully dry at the end.
