But, assuming you're in the UK and are talking about working for the NHS, being a radiographer is boring as hell. My ex-housemate was one, and he would have appointments scheduled all day long but loads of people (as in 60%) would not show up and would not call to cancel their appointment either, so he ended up just sitting around doing nothing for more than half the day. He'd just write emails and use the internet.
Makes me sick that my tax money was paying for him to do absolutely nothing all day, just because people can't be arsed to pick up the phone and spend five minutes cancelling an appointment!
