I love David Tennant for everything he's done - Casanova, Doctor Who, Recovery.

I can't get enough of Philip Glenister who plays DCI Gene Hunt in Life on Mars (currently my favourite TV show)

Sorry, can't think of any actresses at the moment.

I have to say my favorite show on right now is HOUSE, MD starring Hugh Laurie. It's another medical-based show, but it's far different from anything like Grey's Anatomy (NO!) or Scrubs. It's highly dramatic and a little dark, but Hugh Laurie brings a dry, comedic feel to the show with his sarcastic, witty, I don't care what anyone else thinks attitude. It's also a show that you can watch even if you are not a dedicated fan (you can watch one episode and normally uderstand what's going on with the characters). I give it 2 thumbs up.

Life on Mars is my favourite British programme at the moment.

For anyone who hasn't watched it, it is about a police detective who has a car accident, which we are led to believe has left him in a coma, however, he now thinks he is living and working as a detective in 1973.

I've heard an American version is being made of it too - wil be interesting to see how they change it.

How come? because of the fact we've adequate vapid media w/o being forced to work out extra. uk television has gradually grown to mimic US television, so why might we choose extra of the comparable nonsense? There was once a time whilst the united kingdom provided relaxing stuff to observe, and that i extremely enjoyed it. Little Britain replaced into the final stable ingredient, and that replaced into years in the past. confident, it is actual we (as a rustic) do no longer comprehend plenty approximately British cultures. Robert Knepper who plays the utterly despicable Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell in Prison Break.

The fact that the character is one who people love to hate is a testament to Knepper's strength as a performer.
