"Candle In the WInd" by Elton John without a doubt

...And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing who to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would have liked to have known you
But I was just a kid
Your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did...

This song brings tears to my eyes, and if you have ever lost someone close to you, I would imagine your reaction to be similair.

The reference to being a "kid" only makes me think that I was not mature enough to apreciate them fully.

Yea. 'I Wanna Be The Rain' by RBD, 'Forever' by Papa Roach, and 'Here's My Heart' by Out of Eden

These songs really explain feeling that I have had for awhile. 'I Wanna Be The Rain' shows how I have been looking for love for me. I have realized that the ones I love the most are the ones that I want in my life. I feel that maybe if I just let someone be here for me, I won't be feeling as if my love has left me.

I never knew the song 'Forever' until an online friend told me that this song explained just how he felt. I heard the song, and it was so sad. It made me feel that some people really are feeling pain.

And finally 'Here's My Heart'. My mom bought me this C.D a whil back ago. I found it again, years later, and I listened to that song. t made me so sad, because I never realized how far away from God I really became until it was almost too late. Now, I have been trying to get my life back together.

Sometimes, these sad songs make me face reality. I know that this is a little too much to add, since you were just asking about what song made you cry. Well, this is my story.

There's a Ray Charles/Willie Nelson duet..."When I was seventeen it was a very good year, it was a very good year of small town girls and soft summer nights, we'd hide from the lights on the village green, when I was seventeen". When I was 21, it was a very good year, it was a very good year for city girls... with all that perfume in their hair", etc. till the guy's an old man and by that time I'm about ready to go nuts... So, then I turn the darned thing off and go find something better to do.

The song say's "Go rest high on the mt, son your work on Earth is done, go to Heaven a shoutin," Wow! it is really hard to hear it.

2 songs:

Dear Mama by 2pac

Gloria by Enchantment

My mom passed away about 9 years ago and her name was Gloria. I can't bear to listen to either song...I walk out of the room or turn the station.
