You can go to the government sites of New Orleans or the state of Louisiana. You could also petition New Orleans' Mayor, Ray Nagin to explain what he has done with the federal aid which poured in years ago.

A lot of people have not been able to move back to New Orleans, as far as homeless goes I dont know. I would guess that when you live in a place like that you should just accept the fact that with the eroding wetlands and your location you will be moving every 5 years and losing everything you own

Last I heard, it was still over 100,000 in temporary housing or homeless. I spent time down there helping. I am an LPN.
