Can anyone tell me if ALDI takes debit cards or checks? I'd call but can't find the phone number :-/ And I can't find any information about accepted payment methods on their website.

My ALDI's store in the US only takes debit cards not credit cards and you must enter your pin. They don't take checks. They still take cash. Some ALDI's don't take 5/3 debit cards, however this problem may have been fixed.

the ones near my house take debit cards - but I don't think they take checks at all

Yes, they do, but why not check out their website because it will tell you there that they do. Try their lemon curd yogurts, divine. Their chickens are the best too, nice and tasty. The best though are their big bags of crisps, on offer at the moment at 69p.
