theres this boy i have been talking to online & i basically know everything about him. but i want to be able to just talk to him not keep asking questions. any suggestions?

** something that would keep going & not end after a couple minutes
& something that would not bore him, like he likes sports, rock/rap music, etc. but i don't know how to make that into a conversation

thanks.

maybe just ask him to ask you questions - or see if he's done anything interesting lately, seen any good movies, won any games?

don't let the focus drift all onto him - if he says he saw a good movie you say something like ,' oh yea me too? which did you see,' and when he responds you do too - don't let it all go his way and don't let him control the conversation

good luck

You can talk about the rap artist's new album or something.

Is he into the news? There are plently of things going on all of the time that would make great conversation pieces.

Keep in mind he needs to keep up his end of the conversation too. If you're doing all fo the work, it' snot worth it.

i'm in the same situation as you, the thing that you need to think about is: does he know everything about you? if you know everything about him, tell him more about yourself. soon the conversations drift to more personal matters, family related things, what he was like before he met you. by revealing a little bit about yourself, you can learn so much more about somebody else. by being open, they'll feel safer to go into things beyond sports and music.

Talk about what YOU know about. If he doesn't know he will ask. You then have two way conversation. This will work both ways and you will eventually express opinions about what is being said. This will lead to deeper and more meaningful conversations.

Do some research on what sports he likes & learn about them so you can carry a conversation about them.
Find out who his favorite musicians are & ask about them.
Talk to him about his life, his family. Ask him to tell you about where he was born...
