omg i'm sooo glad i came across ur question! i did the exact same thing to my upper lip a week ago by waxing it. i too ripped of my skin. what u have to do is have neosporin on it at all times cuz if that layer below ur outer skin is exposed then u'll have a much bigger chance of it scarring and i learned that the hard way cuz now i have a scar there which looks like a mustache.......so i waxed it so i could get rid of the hair, but i ended up with a scar that looked even worse than my old mustache.....:pwell that sucks, but don't make the same stupid mistake as me!!! and remember don't ever let it dry out!!! i hope this helps and good luck!

Hey, I know how bad this hurts! Everytime I have had my eyebrows waxed (and yes it was a professional at a different spa every time) my skin would come off. Even if just a little bit and I'd end up looking scary with red scabs under my brows for like a week. If it isn't too severe than it should heal up fast, I just used a little Neosporin or similiar product on it for the first few days. The ladies at the spa's always told me it was due to the temperature of the wax being too hot and burning my skin. But even after telling me this they would do the same thing! So I think it's just due to the sensitivity of your skin. I could be wrong though. But I just stick to tweezing. You could try those Neet (or maybe it's Veet) cold wax strips they sell at the drug store. Those work just as well as the hot wax if you can cut it into the shape you need. Good luck!

Make sure to keep it clean and moist so it doesn't scar or get infected. Wash it with a gentle facial soap to clean it and then use an ointment such as neosporin to keep germs out. Since its on your face, I understand that you might not want to have a bandage on it, but try to keep it covered. If it is covered, the wound stays moist, a scab won't develop, and your skin can more easily heal without leaving a scar.
Once its closed up you can try a medication such as mederma to reduce any scarring or uneveness.
Until it is healed just keep a lookout for any signs of infection. If it gets very hot, swollen, red, more painful, or is leaking pus then see a doctor to get an antibiotic.

i used to be on accutane and the same thing would happen to me when i would get waxed (i know they tell you not to... but you cant just walk around looking like a bush) .... what i would do is... after the first time it happend ... but lots of neosporine (SP?) on it... and just keep applying it then to prevent it from happening... make sure you keep your skin really moist... apply a lotion maybe 1.5-2 hours before you wax and that should help the amount of skin that gets pulled.... and if none of this helps... you may want to resort to threading.... an indian technique... a little more painful (not too much) but does not irritate your skin ...
good luck!

You are going to have to wait until it grows back. But next time have a professional do it or make sure you are using wax that is made for the face. Also hair removing lotions will work and there is no ripping involved!

You need to go to the drugstore TODAY--and buy a small stick of Cocoa-Butter, or a jar of Vitamin E capsules. Both products have Vitamin E--and if you rub it on the damaged area while its fresh and new---it will heal and NOT leave a scar. Thats a fact.Vitamin E is an oil, and you can breal the capsule open annd rub the oil on your skin.
One time I acidentally cut my forehead with a piece of wire (It cut me as I was leaning over in a supermarker)--and I rubbed Vitamin E on it while it was healing--and till this day I dont have a scar.

OUCH!!!!! I would just put some moisturizer on it and maybe some ice no greasy ointment as for it might cause you to break out... unless of course you are bleeding then I would use some neosporin to prevent infection... again OUCH!!!!

There is nothing to do, the skin will grow back fairly quickly, don't worry about it.
