Im starting an online business and i dont get what you do for sales tax for instate sales, what do i do with it?

I thought you have to charge sales tax to instate buyers.

check with your state department of revenue. some states require you to pay the taxes regardless of the location of the buyer. YOU are held responsible for the taxes, so it is up to you, check into it or just take a chance you won't be noticed.

I think you should collect only sales tax on sales in your state.

i have experience in online business and we dont charge any taxes from customers..even international ones...i dont see the reason why would you want to do that...

If the buyer is from your state, you have to pay.
