A labret lip piercing please can you tell me a rating of 1 to 10 how much it hurt as iam getting one soon....and im not very good with pain!! lool

i have had mine for over 8 years, this is an easy piercing. Both to have done, and to heal. Once placement of the jewelery has been decided and marked, your lip will be held and the piercing done in one swift movement, one deep breath in and it will be done, breathe out, relax,breathe in, and out again and your jewelery will be in place. Your lip will swell for 2,3 or maybe even 4 days, ever so slightly, but your piercer will take this into account choosing the length of jewelery for you. Rinse with mouthwash after meals and bathe, externally in a solution, half tsp salt water to half pint boiling water(allow to cool b4 use obviously) after a week you should be almost healed, after 2 weeks return to where you were pierced and they will fit you with appropriate jewelery, good luck, and enjoy

my friend got one and it's very painfull. but they put some paintkillers on that spot of the lip to numb it so it shouldn't hurt as much.
