Usually I use MSDN to learn about certain product. For example Visual Basic, C++ or C#.
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx
If you go to the MSDN URL, on the left side will show you a list of products.
Then for example I want to learn about Visual Basic (VB), I'll click on the visual basic located at the product list.
Then there'll be a link (on the left side) to learn about VB, reference, and so on.
Since I want to learn the VB, I'll click on Learn about Visual Basic. I can then select either I want to know the overview, or the introductory topics.
Here I will choose Introductory Topics which will show a list of topics (e.g Windows Form Development). Then on the left side will show very detailed topics all about using Visual Basic. So from there I can choose any topics which is related to what I want to know more.
Some of the topics they include are as follows:
How to: Add Windows Forms to a Project
How to: Choose the Startup Form in a Windows Application
How to: Compile and Run a Complete Windows Forms Code Example Using Visual Studio
How to: Create a Windows Application Project
How to: Display Windows Forms in the Designer
How to: Keep a Windows Form on Top
Walkthrough: Creating a Simple Windows Form
Walkthrough: Getting Started with the Windows Forms Designer
Hope this help...
