I'm a patriotic liberal democrat and an ordained priest.
I don't blame Jesus for anything although some of his "followers" seem downright un-Christian.
I don't blame America for anything.
I do blame its current "leader" for lying us into an illegal and unnecessary war which has killed many thousands.
Iran is a scary place run by religious fundamentalists. Sort of like what America will be like if the religious right gets its way.

Liberal Democrats if they are blaming any one are blaming the current US administration and if they are pointing fingers at anything religious it is specific religious sects that seem to be influencing said administration in a country that legally should have a separation between church and state. Many Liberal Democrats are Christians and believe in Jesus just possibly in a different church than yours.
