Without giving up my ability to think independently and look at issues on their merit?

You can still think independently, just learn how to be a really good liar, be able to stick your head in the sand, have no problem sending troops into harms way for nothing, get others to be the fall guy for your mistakes, hate anyone else that thinks independently, force your religious beliefs on others. There, that should do it.

A Neo-Conservative is a former liberal, who became nauseated by the lack of moral behavior, the radical leftist agenda, and lack of respect for authority and tradition in their own policitical party. Becoming a Neocon requires you to open your mind, pull up your pants, and learn to truly think independently of your commune.

After reading so many of the things you've written on here today, the one main thing is to change your attitude but that will never happen cause you can't change who you are just because you want others to think you have changed. A simple proof is Sen. Robert Byrd. No matter haw he tries he can't change the fact he was in the KKK and that kind of thing doesn't change over night like he tried to make it seem Personally, I hate the man.
