Pitching in the NL he will probably have 15 wins. He will not pitch as deep into games as he did in the AL meaning the bullpen will probably squander a few wins for him. Zito usually has a high pitch total early in games so look for him to rarely pitch more than 6 or 7 innings. That being said he should post and ERA in the low 3s and be a top NL pitcher this season.

I'm thinking 13-9.The Giants are not a young team so there run productions will once agian drop.Bonds doesn't use roids now because he doesn't want to be caught so there goes 40 home runs.Vizquel is very productive as well as Durham but they are only the leadoff hitters,so they won't help Zito out much.Zito will lower his ERA because he faces a pitcher not a DH now.

Im thinking 17-18 wins and 6 losses...they paid way too much for a guy with a bender and a weak fastball...but thats how it is when you play in a division that a slightly over 500 team can win a playoff spot...

Good question!!!!
I think with him coming over from the AL and not many players knowing him, I think he will start out pretty hot and have 7-8 wins
by June, so my hunch is after he goes thru the league the 2nd and 3rd time and other teams have seen his pitches he will wind up somewhere between 15-18 wins and 7-9 losses.

I think he may be in for an 15-11 season. He is pretty good at going deeper into games than a lot of pitchers, certainly pitching to the DH-less AL will help a bit, but your team has to score and when your offense relies on Bonds at 42, it's not going to be a terribly effective year.

Well considering he has only had 2 seasons (out of seven) with 17 or more wins...i think he'll be around his average, about 15 or 16 wins, 10 losses and a 3.70 era
