I really like Melinda Doolittle. But then I loved Chris Daughtry and Taylor Hicks won - do not get that one. Honestly, I don't really think it matters who the winner is as long as they are in the last four. Chris Daughtry is succeeding now even though he was voted off. I think Melinda is getting the recognition she deserves and if she wins or doesn't I'll bet she will get signed. She is an awesome talent and I don't think she will get away from Idol without some kind of record deal. I hope not anyway.

nobody has won american idol yet, it is still going on, it is on channel fox at 8 p.m usually on wednesday and either 8 or 9 on thursday. the winner probably won't be announced for another 2 months or so at the rate they go, they get rid of one contestant a week and they are at 11 i believe
