I won't walk under a ladder...I cringe when I break a mirror, I don't pick up a penny that is face down, my lucky horse shoe is hung to where it catch the luck.....I don't recall having any rituals...I am not a superstitious person......he! he!

I check my email about 4,987 times a day because I am deathly afraid I will miss a communication from my "one and only." I superstitiously think doom will happen if I miss a communication by very much time!

Some of any spilled salt must be thrown over the shoulder. I know it's silly, but we all have our hang ups

When I was a child I heard that to sneeze to your left side was bad, right was good. And it seems to have stuck with me. Whenever i'm about to sneeze I turn to my right - absentmindedly.
I also once read that to stir your food with a fork was to stir for trouble, a spoon for the opposite. That appears to have stuck, too.

I never open and close a umbrella while i'm indoors. My mother said that she seen her mother (which would be my great grandma) opening and closing an umbrella that she got for a gift and she died while doing that. I know it sounds silly but it's true.
