Every time i watch the mets or the ranger games there are commercals in places there shouldnt be commercials. I get Thrown off by the commercials and lose intrest. I know they need comercials because it pays for programing but i hate them so much. Espaicaly the bad ones.
PS. If my spelling is bad, I know already.

I dont have add, im just tired of commercials. They seem to get longer and longer breaks with only 4-5 min of show time in the middle.

I got DVR but its not as good as no commercials HBO dosnt have breaks during a movie, why cant they do that for everything?

Yes, the commercials are getting crazy. Your average 30 minute show will have about 8 minutes of commercials. While your average 1 hr show; Lost..Grey's Anatomy...they will have about 19 minutes of commercials. I think they should somehow work more "advertisment" into the show. Like they drink pepsi of have a box of "Lucky Charms" on the table. Some shows are so "steamy" you could even satisfy all the drug companies. Have them pause and take a Viagra before the scene :)

First, HBO isnt free for most people, that is why they have no commercials. Do you really want to watch warmups or listen to idiot announders instead of going to commercial for 3 minutes. I agree, I hate commercials. If anyone has watched the NCAA March Madness, you would see that CBS has commercials every chance it gets, even on a 20 second timeout! It is ridicilous, but it is the ONLY channel to watch any of the 65 basketball games in the tournament (without a dish and some sort of 'League Pass'). Commercials are used because they CAN and they will.

Because you PAY for HBO numbnuts. If you want to pay for every show, then you could get them without commercials.

you and me both, i just take an ordinary cassette tape and record up until i see commercials and then i stop it, or if the doesn't work just fast forward through the comercials when you watch the recorded show, i hate and dispise the commercials, i mean what is the use of commercials, they are just there to annoy you!!

I think a lot of them are quiet entertaining. There are a number of them I really like, and can quote, kinda like cult classics. I Do however agree that they put WAY to many of them in a break. A one hour program, like Lost, will only give you about 1/2 hour of actual programming, and that DOES make me nuts!
Your spelling isn't all THAT bad, but you could benefit by using spell check.

well that's the only way the tv makes money. there would be no tv without commercials. what happens is the company's advertising specialist or watever they ccall that dude goes out and looks for the most popular tv program. they try to bargain an affordable wage with the tv program to advertise their company/product/event. they both come to a conclusion and the tv station divides that money up. some goes to the company, some goes to the owners, etc.

I feel you! The commercials are really stupid for the most part anyway. That;s why I either tape with a VCR or DVR on the cable box & skip right over those dumb old commercials.

I'm with you. I really dislike the commercials. However, there are one or two that
tickle my funny bone. It's the 2 beavers on Bell Sympatico. They really crack me
up. I don't remember the other one I like. Shows how often I watch them. : }

i hate when I'm watching something good and there just about to say or do something that you been waiting for and then comes in a commercial .the worst ones is the feminine products and condom commercials.how embarrassing when you have people over.

Without commercials, all tv channels would be either pay-per-view, or premium channels you'd have to pay extra to get.
If you get "thrown off and lose interest," maybe you suffer from attention disorder, and need medical help.
