I did not write down the code. Is there any way to find out what the code is without having the service running?

Tivo Or DVR if it's a Tivo just email Tivo.com and they will send you a new code. If it's Directv you can call them at 1-800-347-3288 ask for the help desk or tech support and they will walk you through it over the phone. or you can e-mail them at Directv.com . I hope this was some help to you.

if this is what u are looking for then u got to unplug it then plung it back in and it should work !
