They understand that.

What you seem to not understand is that the US Constituion prohibits him from trying to impose his religious beliefs as a matter of law, and prohibits discrimination.

So, he can believe all he wants that gays are bad. But he cannot enact those aspects of religious dogma into law.

You are a FAKE! You are a liberal posing as a conservative who can't even spell or write a coherent sentence!

I don't know if W is a good Christian. We cannot presume to judge what is in a man's heart.

And he seems to only be interested in stopping gay marriage - not the gay person themselves. Not that I approve of his position. I just think it should be fairly presented. Having said that, I disapprove of religion being the primary or sole motive for a law.

Bush the "compassionate conservative." I guess get tired of how conservatives wrap themselves in the Bible and Flag they claim to be only ones who are Christians and true loyal patriots. Now we are war in Iraq over gays? If Bush is such a "good Christian" please tell why we are are war? Or is OK that Bush just has hard time telling the truth?

I don't think that Bush's stand has anything to do with stopping gays. I'm not exactly sure where you got that one from. He's a little too busy screwing up our country with a war to worry about gay people. Wake up and smell the bombs.

I don't think Christ would agree with your take that Bush is a good Christian. He holds the records for putting the most inmates to death in Texas, not very Christian, he started a war built on lies, also a violation of the Christians commandments, and what has he REALLY done to STOP gays? NOTHING, it's all just posturing to get himself re-elected. GAYS ARE NOT THE PROBLEM. America has bigger issues, by the way if Jesus were here he would accept and love EVERYONE, yes even the gays.

It's not only Christians who believe that "gays" are a bunch of perverts. If they are the kind of gays who have medical proof that they were born that way, we should leave them alone. But leaving them alone does not mean they should be allowed to marry. It just means we don't put them in jail or "stone them at the gates". The others chase after their own desires despite what it good for the children who see them.

How come you don't learn to spell? If George W. Bush is a Christian, I'm the frickin' Devil Himself!

Whether he's a good Christian or not is between him and his god but he's not trying to stop the gays. They have their rights just like everyone else but they are trying to take things too far and that's where he is stepping in.

Evidently you do not remember Bush's Campaign slogan or speech he made just prior to the 2004 election wherein he states that "He would work effortlessly to effectuate a Constitutional Amendment to prohibit Gay Marriages IMMEDIATELY UPON BEING RE-ELECTED!

ROFLMAO!

Evidently its up his rectum where his brains are and where he usually comes up with such bull$hit!
