Should we reinstitute the draft so that these keyboard warrior Liberals actually have to fight for their country for a change? Or, would most soldiers not want a Liberal beside them because it puts them at risk due to the Lib's inability to Man-Up and fight?

"keyboard warrior Liberals"
I LOVE this phrase!!
I think the brave who join by choice would not want the cowards forced into service next to them.

EDIT
Paul: Though it is belated, as an American I thank you for wearing the uniform and fighting when you did. You had it tough coming back and that sucked. You should never have recieved the treatment you did.

If anyone is questioning why I am not serving and never have, I was denied entry when I tried to sign up. I have epilepsy and that exempted me. I was NOT happy.

okay calling people "libs" quickly identifies you as a rush listener. I think they should reinstitute the draft. However, last time it did not work fairly. If you are from a rich family, you can just get an easy position with the air national guard. *COUGH BUSH. Also, just because you are a liberal, does not make you unable to be a man. I am more a man than you would know. I am also smart in knowing that we should not go try to FORCE people to "be free". If you cannot get the support of the people you will never win. If Iran took over this country and tried to make us a theocracy (muslim theocracy, not chiristian because you guys would like that) would you accept that?

How silly. Please tell us all how you know that those who protest this war do not have family members in the armed services? Another thing that seems to tax the brains of the Bush supporters is that it isn't only liberals who protest this war. Yet they address 70% of the people of this country who think this war is ridiculously mismanaged as liberals. How ignorant is that? I served my country, and I'm too old to go to Iraq now. How about you? Why don't you have your combat boots on? By the way, I'm a moderate and I know, like 70% of the rest of this country, that Bush's War is a study in mismanagement and chaos.

you sound pathetic and ignorant- I pity you so I will help you and offer some enlightenment.

you do not know who or from which family people in the military are. my cousin was iraq but is now home.

the best way to get a military that works well is to force people, great idea (this is sarcasm- in case it went over your head).
this was the issue in vietnam- people went there and just waited to finish their tour and go home. they did nothing besides try not to die.

pacifism is not an inablity to fight. its the choice to be peaceful because war is a terrible immoral thing.

I say yes to all of the above. If America had a mandatory military obligation for every kid coming out of high-school - I think that would actually help. Liberals protest the war
because they fear a reduction in funding for all of the "feel good" programs they institute. Liberals are not interested in fighting the real battle.

Oh how I wish they would restart the draft then the military wouldn't be so one sided. Our military today is 93% conservative but then, I guess everyone can't be a hero so we'll leave it to the cons.

Conservative Republicans - why do you protest abortion if your family is not affected?

Because it's your democratic right.
