so i went with friends to a show and sat in the audience. after awhile i was relaxed and sorta tired. next thing i remember is im on stage sitting. was i hypnotized? what happened? my friends said i got up from my seat and joined him onstage.

You were without any doubt given a post hypnotic 'forget' suggestion. I have seen things done by people under hypnotism that they would never have done out of a hypnotic trance. Hypnotism is a very dangerous thing if not done by a professional. leave it alone!
