What kind of question is this.. Smoking is Dangerous PERIOD!.. It causes lung cancer, and other serious breathing problems in the person doing it alone.. so you can just imagine what they are doing to a set of lungs that are no bigger than your thumb. Is smoking dangerous?? Come on.. those who smoke are in denial and just can't admit that they have a problem or an addiction. I know it is hard to stop.. I mean my Mother stopped when she died at age 57. Though she knew it was killing her.. Addictions are hard to break.

aside from the known risks for anyone that smokes, the unborn baby can be hurt by her smoking. the baby can be very sick and even die from the mother smoking. remember, anything that goes into the mother's body also goes into the baby's. FYI...children with parents that smoke have more respiratory infections that with those that don't.

Yes. It says so right on the pack. (On most packs) It can cause birth defects, underweight babies, etc. A friend of mine smoked while she was pregnant and her son has had health problems all of his life.

It is VERY dangerous, especially for the unborn. Stop it while you're ahead, before you ruin your child's life before he/she even gets a chance.

No, not at all. Smoking is really really healthy for all of us. She should chain smoke through all the nine months of pregnancy and then, boil tobacco in the baby formula just to give it a little twist of more flavor... (SARCASTICALLY SPEAKING)
