Exactly what King George's was. They are Colonials, subjects of the British Crown, and, therefore, they are subject to the laws of Parliament and those mandates of the King.

Well you know what Crazy George's response was. If it were me as king, however, I would have sent a courier over with the message "Nice idea, but let's talk about implementation." Of course the chances of me ever becoming a king, prime minister or president are significantly less than that famous snowball.

Before it even got that far, I would have make sure its what the majority wanted over there, then had them pay me a set price to buy the country from me, it would have been a set price they had to pay over so many years like they way people buy houses today, During that time they were paying me a set price, they would get to run america how they wanted, so that would keep them happy in once sense but I still get my money as the king.

To my American subjects. We have always held you in the very highest esteem, for your hard work and ability to make a new life in our often hostile colonies in America.
It has come to our attention that some of you think yourselves capable of making decisions on your own. This foolishness will only lead to great unhappiness, and like any child which misbehaves, our British Army may have to come to your aid and chastise and punish those among you who have disobeyed their father.
As you all know so well, we are entirely opposed to the holding of slaves in the households of our subjects in our American colonies. We are however, disposed to, and hold the temporary belief, that a small number of slaves held as farm labourers might help our economy in our said American colonies. It might also relieve the heavy burden of work placed upon our loyal subjects.
We are this day dispatching ten Royal Navy warships of the line to protect our American colonies. These ships will moor at our Royal Dockyard in our City of New York and will act as protection for that city.
Meanwhile regiments of our British Army with an escort of the Royal Canadian Indian Nations Militia, will march on Boston to arrive there at 11am in the forenoon on Sunday the 3rd day of May 1777.
