Long legs are an advantage for jumping, because they increase the distance over which the jumper can push on the ground. The thick part at the top of the leg (femur) contains the muscles which make the thinner lower part (tibia) move.

None, because insects don't have a femur. They don't have any bones at all. Instead they have an exoskeleton which is basically the outside of their body provides all of the structure they need.

Insects do have a femur.....and it is for the propose of jumping and moving quickly .
