depending on when you're planning your trip to Imperial Valley, make sure your air conditioner is working.
about san diego? go to old town and visit the whaley house and the old town mexican cafe and old town state park (especially during cinco de mayo). downtown sd is pretty cool, too. we just spent a GREAT weekend there during st. patrick's day!

Visit Old Town San Diego - good food and shopping. Drive over to Coronado Island - lots of things to do and see there.

Check out La Jolla. It is Beautiful! Hang out in La Jolla village for a day and have lunch overlooking the ocean at Georges. Visit the seals too. Cute. I used to live there. One of the nices places to visit or live.
