im singaporean. with a keen interest in studying abroad. wishes to study psychology in either britain or canada. any universities to recommend? my GPA is 3.0 and i have a diploma in IT from a local polytechnic.

Well, University of San Francisco, is perhaps, the most diverse university in cultural and ethnicity. So I believe that will be a good situation for you. I do believe they have a study abroad program too.
USF is not hard to get into but it is still a prestigious school, so good luck!
