Osama bin Laden is trying to scare Bush into staying in Iraq by saying Al Qaida will make it into a terrorist camp if the U.S. withdraws. If Al Qaida was really going to do this, would they really be stupid enough to tell us? Al Qaida is trying to persuade the U.S. to stay in Iraq by playing on our fears. Shouldn't we do the OPPOSITE of what Al Qaida is appartently trying to make us do?

Al Qaida wouldnt be able to make Iraq into a terrorist training ground, for a few reasons.
1. If the forces there pulled out and the majority was left in charge there wouldnt be a problem because the would probably just kill off the minority.
2. Iraqis like their freedom even under Saddam rule they were more of a western society when it came to dress and how their culture was. Iraq was not a fundamental Muslim country.
3. Iraqis for the most part cooperate with the forces in their country, They would rather we leave with a firm government in place than leave with the way things are now.
4. Iraqis have not been known for their support of terroists. Links to a prewar Iraq supporting terrorism are flimsy at best, and again with the freedoms they enjoyed during saddams reign by not being a fundamental muslim country they wont want to become one.
I like to compare the Iraqis to Bosnians since they are both muslim. Yes they are muslim but really they just want to eat bacon and do what they want without some guy telling them to go become martyrs. While some of any religous persuasion can be convinced to do stuff in the name of their God for the most part Iraqis could care less.

It is very difficult to make sense of this comment. Certainly, al Qaida would have more sense than to share this strategic information. That is, if you believe everything about the official story surrounding our occupation of the Middle East.
Many people believe that Osama Bin Laden is conveniently setup as the fall guy for 9/11. Check into where Bin Laden was just weeks before the attacks.
If you rely on the mass media for your misinformation, you will by see lots of smoke and mirrors. I suggest that you discern the truth by reading stories published on the Internet and researching the facts to make sure that what is said is true.
The 9/11 Commission report made factual errors and also missed critical information like: "Why did a third building (WTC 7 that had minor damage and minor fires) on 9/11 in NYC WTC disentigrate and collapse as if it were demolished?"
However, I praise your excellent question. It's one of many things about our occupation of the Middle East that just doesn't make any since at all. To me, this 'factoid' smells of disinformation.

Al Qaida and anybody linked to that type of behavior just make me want to PUKE...! Sick people wasting their precious time on Earth to do harm, dress up like idiots, run around with bombs strapped to them... What a waste of precious time... It wasn't Israel
It wasn't Iraq
It was the stationing of American Troops in Saudi Arabia
and the Saudis using American Troops to Fight Muslims in Iraq. Osama Offered to use Muslim fightersd to liberate Kuwait from Sadaam.

wow. Never thought about it that way. But what if they are going to make it into a terrorist camp? maybe they think that we are thinking this way, and really dont want our troops in iraq. Maybe they are really going to make it into a terrorist camp. But maybe they are thinking that we are thinking that they are thinking this way and...... i dont know. I think we should play it safe, but lower the amount of troops in iraq. I seriously think this is a dumb war anyways. We are losing lives to save lives, which in my opinion is really really stupid.
