I have drum brakes listed for an 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier L4-2.2L VIN F. It is the only Cavalier so this must be it.

Everyone above is wrong, you have drum brakes in the back. No Cavalier no matter what year, ever came with disc brakes in the back, EVER, also, no cavalier ever came with "two pot" (two piston) calipers up front, only single caliper with disc brakes. If you want to upgrade to discs in the rear, it's probably unnecessary because most of the braking is done up front, not to mention that it would be tremendously costly and probably involve some custom work. If you think these "drums" need to be replaced, take them off and look at the "shoes" (not pads like calipers have) It is very rare that your drums should ever need replaced, especially on a car this new. Hope this cleared up your question.

u should have discs, have a look,, if its the same as the front its discs, 2 pot calipers!!

they are either rivited or bonded.i think that car takes semi-metalic.
