Why do you hate this person? Have they done something you find unforgivable? Hate is a very strong word. You need to think about why you hate this person and decide if you can find it in your heart to forgive them. Forgiveness is a choice. You can forgive without forgetting.

You learn to look at divorce as being both your faults. No problem is caused by just one person. You may have not instigated the breakup, but you did make the wrong choice of a partner to begin with. Did you know that person well enough(date long enough)? Did you move faster than you should when you made a commitment? Did you forget how to communicate and just let everything turn into arguments? Look inside yourself and you'll probably see that you do deserve some of the blame for things falling apart. It's not to say that you take full credit for how things turned out, but you must assume some of the responsibility. After you see your own imperfections you can also see that this person you hate has a lot to work on to get their life straight. I had to look at my ex wife with pity to see that she was hurting herself far more than she hurt me. She has never been able to find true happiness in her life because she has never learned to treat people the right way. People that hurt other people need pity not hate - to have those kind of morals is a sad way to live life don't you agree?

Hating takes so much negative energy. The person you hate has probably hurt or really pissed you off. What you must remember is that this person probably doesn't give a dam if you hate them or not. I heard Oprah say she hated someone. One day she went to a department store and when she saw this person she truly hated. She discreetly looked over at the person and she was smiling, talking and have a good ol' time shopping. Oprah said she realized it was one-sided and taking up way too much energy.
Another thing to think about is "Hate is not the opposite of love, indifference is." That saying helped me a lot!

You have to figure out why you hate the person. Sometimes it's not really hate. Maybe if you talk to the person you will see them in a different light. You know you can't always judge a book by the cover. So go talk and find out exactly what that person is really like.

This may sound crazy but it works. First, are you sure you WANT to stop hating? Some people hang onto hate for their own protection. But if you're REALLY sure you want to let go of it pray for that person you hate and don't stop praying. At least one prayer a day.Ask God to grant this person peace and eventually YOU will get relief. If you don't believe in God, then just send "peace vibes" to this person.

Y must u hate? Hating someone could be very tiring. It's not worthwhile at all. Y not juz let them go n dont give a dann to him/her. Be good to yourself. Life is too short.

Hate is a very strong word. Diffuse it with I really don't like ....anymore. Then, I really don't want to think about...anymore. Because my dear whoever you now believe you hate, if they are worthy of hate, they don't care. Don't live your life despising someone who doesn't care.

depends on the cause of the hate. If it is something trivial let it go. If it is something serious then avoid the person at all cost

Start talking to them, telling them how you feel. Maybe you'll become good friends with the person.
