I think it is deffinitely alot more unclear than it was at the beginning of the season with schevchenko's disgraceful play and ballack's non-existent scoring. He doesnt seem to have the flair that he had last year when they won the premiership, though he is doing a great job none the less. There also has been alot of news of him taking a coaching job with portugal national team, which he seems very positive about. Though i think you are right in the fact that if they dont win the title this year i think he'll be out in the summer. the title isnt going to be easy this year either with Manchester United's current form, their 4-1 victory over bolton was nothing less than great football, especially the way cristiano ronaldo and rooney are playing. I don't know when Terry is going to return for chelsea but they will need him in order to hold off Man Utd's attackers. Didier Drogba just cant stop scoring this season which will deffinitly come in handy and Shevchenko and Ballack's new found form will too. But to say where i think Mourinho will be at the start of next season, i think first we need to see who wins the title race. Another thing to think about was that period were mourinho and abromovich were not talking, some bad blood between them might be the deciding factor and it wont be in Jose's favor.

yes i think he will go even though he said he will stay until 2010
Chelsea wont win the league this season man utd will and jose is a good manager
capello will get sacked by real Madrid by the end of the season, and then Jose will go manage them
cos he did say earlier on in the week he would love to manage real Madrid

can't get over the racist tone of some people....
Mourinho has done a great job for Chelsea...so they have endless funds... but he did a great job in Porto, and they don't have endless funds...It would really be nice for people who don't know what they are talking about to just shut it...
Mourinho will one day coach the Portuguese National team, however.. you Chelsea fans out there...you will have the absolute luck of having Mourinho for the next couple of years... unless of course, things really go sour between manager and president.... he doesn't need the crap.. he's rich enough...

Jose has already indicated that he would like to go to Real Madrid. I think if John Terry moves on that he will do the same - especially if the money dries up at Stamford Bridge.

I think his mind is made up already.I read in the press that Chelsea are trying to line up Barca's Frank Rijkaard for next season. If there has to be a replacement, then he would be just as good.

i think its too close to call. he seems to be interested in the madrid job but he also seems to be a man of his word and he previously said he'd honour his contract. What is there to gain from going to Madrid other than to build his own team without the distraction of Abramovic and Arnesen.
