How to do Embeded Citations when.....?

Question

How do you do embeded citations for my situation?
my situation is that i have a page from one single source and that page has multiple paragraphs, do i put the embeded citation at the end of each paragraph or do i put the embeded citation at the end of only the last paragraph?
and after that one page i got half a page of another source with 2 paragraphs, so same question as above, do i put the same source at the end of each paragraph or do i only put it in the end of the last paragraph?

for the first answer, i didnt mean same source for the whole paragraph but same source for the whole PAGE, including the paragraphs.

You don't say what kind of a source you are using (book, article, etc.), but I assume it is multiple pages long. If you are using information from different pages of your source, you're going to cite the author AND the page you got that information from. Example: you have a book written by John Smith and you used information from pages 13, 39, 114, and 150. Each page gets its own citation: (Smith 13), (Smith 39), (Smith 114), (Smith 150) etc. So, even if you have only one source, you will probably have multiple citations.

Also, location of citations don't always come at the end of paragraphs, either. They come right after you've used the page of that source, so they can be in the middle of a paragraph, too.

When you use each source, cite it right after you use it-- if you have written a whole paragraph from that single source then put it there. Usually you quote a source in a sentence, and after that sentence you would cite it with ( ). Unless you have used a source in the last paragraph, don't cite anything there.
