No, it doesn't. Another silly myth. I wear falsies constantly. the lashes which are bound to a strip - is glued to the lid, which peels off easily whenver you desire to do so. Obviously the adhesive that comes with false lashes should be kept away from the actual eye. But there is no real damage to the real lashes.

Yes, they do! I had eyelash extensions for a year. Not only were they expensive (around $200 a month) but they completely ruined my natural eyelashes leaving them thin, short, and wimpy. I will never again get eyelash extensions. I have, however, found an amazing mascara called 3D Fiber Lash Mascara by Younique that gives you an amazing build-able lash that is comparable to extensions without causing the damage. False eyelashes will not thin your eyelashes or make them fall out. (I am a Cosmetologist and have been trained in the art of make-up) As past people have stated the removal is the most important. Never just pull your false eyelashes off, that will rip them out. I like to wash my face and gently massage my eyes, after I will use a face lotion or make-up remover and let it soak into my eye area. Then very gently I will pull very slowly the false set off. If I feel a tug I stop and apply more make-up remover. Also, if not used correctly eye lash curlers can damage your eyelashes even worse. Make sure to change the pads on the curler frequently and to not squeeze to hard. Using the curler after applying mascara to your eyelashes can make your eyelashes break off. I've seen people pull out or break off all their natural eyelashes before. Sorry to ramble on guys! I wear my lashes at least 4 times a week and haven't had any problems for the last year!

I quite have heard with fake eyelashes you may get the glue onto your real ones, and as you're placing out the fake ones, you wind up placing out the real ones. i've got heard the comparable with eyelash perms and eyelash extensions. i do no longer think of it is well worth it. My advice is to empty an old mascara tube, and put in vaseline and use this on your eyelashes before mattress, it is going to thicken them and cause them to longer.

if the glue is done wrong on the fake lashes yes it can mess them up! Also the removal process is important! Make sure you either read directions well or if you go and have them done ask them about it.

It seems to me like it would because of the glue on the fake ones.It can ruin your roots I guess in your natural ones.

Yes it does. The stuff you use to keep them on is bad for your real ones. Sometimes it pulls off your natural eyelashes off, so they're not as full.

Since glue is used to stick the fake ones, yes, I would not recommend these!
