Actually, once there was an Bafta-award winning actress who starred in that year's Oscar-award winning film who came to my meditation centre and spent the weekend with our small group of about 20 for a programme. She looked familiar, but I thought it was just because I may have seen her around the centre. I didn't know exactly who she was until towards the end of the weekend. We chatted and it did seem like there was something different about her. She was very kind, very sweet, and very curious about everyone around her. She was also very, very, very skinny. She had a most beautiful face, though, but she really looked quite small and vulnerable because of how skinny she was. I thought that she was like everyone else, though, but she did seem softer than the other people there, more vulnerable for some reason, maybe it was her size. When I've seen her since in magazines and in newspapers, she looks 100 times more glamourous and beautiful. And her skinny emaciated body doesn't look out of place in the magazines. So I would say her face, yes, really is that much more beautiful and expressive than "normal" people even without make-up in person. But her glamour, seems to be the result of make-up, clothing, and possibly stylists. She appears much more approachable and down-to-earth in person. But her skinniness, I think that it's a result of stars having to look that way. I didn't think it was too healthy. I hope she continues to have great success in her career. Since I've met her, I've become a great fan.

You must keep in mind that most attractive celebrities have had plastic surgery to look the way they do. Even younger celebrities in the 30's have had nose jobs, teeth work, lip injections and such. Of course, they have personal trainers who give them awesome bodies. And makeup is a miracle drug for famous woman. You'd be surprised how they look WITHOUT makeup. There are a few sites called Celebrities Without Makeup and you will be shocked at how horrific some of them look--including Pamela Anderson.. Most famous women look great becauise of makeup, hair styles, and clothes.
TAKE A LOOK AT CELEBRITIES WITHOUT MAKEUP!!

They're no different than us "regular" people. If we all had an excess of money, personal stylists, trainers, makeup artists we would look "MORE" attractive as well. And let me tell you this... I'm a photographer and not only do I air brush my own photographs, but others as well. Why not? You think they're not going to air brush a pimple off of Angelina Jolie for a front cover?? I believe "regular" people can look just as attractive in their photos. Once I work my magic on my photos my clients look even more amazing!! It's not all photos that it is necessary on, but when air brushing is needed it is used. It's just a matter of each person taking care of themselves and caring how they look.

Celebrities are only more attractive because they are Richer, Famous, Powerful, and Well Publicized.
It's amazing what a makeover, stylist and good photographer with airbrushing can do.
If Mick Jagger or 75% of Rock musicians weren't famous they wouldn't be getting gorgeous Models/Actress girlfirends or wives. It's only because they are FAMOUS that people are attracted to them.
I could go down to the local Mall and find 20 women in less than 10 minutes who are actually more beautiful or attractive/hotter than most TV/Movie stars that guys think are the hottest.

All the money they have to pay those makeup and hair artists and the trainers they have.. if they are ugly it looks bad on them not the celebs. They are just regular everyday ppl with dragon breath in the morning and bad hair with some skin problems.. they cover it all up with fashion and makeup.. majic..presto there you have it.

women i'd say Catherine Zeta Jones, Charlize Theron, Angelina Jolie. For men i'd say Gerard Butler, George Clooney and Brad Pitt. possibly Johnny Depp too. Gerry's the sexiest inspite of the actuality that hehe! Gwyneth is amazingly acceptable inspite of the actuality that and easily one of my fav actresses. sturdy decision.

No, I've seen a few of these "supposed "beauties without makeup and the look of them would scare a wolf off a meat wagon.

Trust me babe, I'm in L.A and I see celebs like there is NO tomarrow. Let's look ate someone like Ashley Simpson, shall we? Cubby, hook nose, huge jaw, small eyes. Go on diet, spray on tan, nose job, eye lift, personal trianer, soften jaw line, there you go. So much is airbrushing and light. I did maodeling when I was in my early teens and I would walk into a room with a bunch of plain jane girls. But the end of the day with airbrushing, lighting, makeup, ets. they looked amazing. Don't be fooled. They are not that attractive.
This will make you fell better :]

No. It's that most of us can't afford plastic surgery, botox, professional makeup artists and air-brushed pictures.

Yes and no, and then there is plastic surgery, but don't let it all go to your head. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
