I am quite an assertive woman, and because of this i was asked by a guy at work, why does a beautiful woman have to play hardball all the time, i was slightly unsettled about this statement ..... and i just wonder if this was called for? i didn't say anything though i should have, and thought does being assertive make a woman less lady like or should i soften my approach? what?

Being assertive can be good, but I also like when women know when to give things a soft women's touch like only a woman can do. I know you can, I can see the softer side of you in some of your other questions. It doesn't make you weak to take a soft approach. It can actually empower you if you do it right. Bye now!

No, being assertive does not make a woman any less of a lady. I don't feel that you should soften your approach. If you did, you would not be true to yourself. That man was out of line.

I do when its nessessary, and then sometimes I'm called a b***h,especially by the males. I think some ppl are afraid of assertive women and they don't know how to react to us.I finally figured out when and how to turn the soft/hard approach on and off. Good Luck.

Nothing wrong with being assertive (man or woman). That's how you'll get what you want in life. Don't let what others think impede you.

because of the fact Islam calls for it. even with wether maximum Muslims take the Qu'ran actually or no longer; it does say that Muslims are to "kill the infidels" till the excellent international has been subdued and is under Islamic regulation. death with the help of Jihad is seen a one way cost ticket to paradise. The Qu'ran in elementary terms talks approximately Muslims being non violent and sort in the direction of their brothers (different Muslims). the main lenient passages in the direction of non-muslims is to permit them to stay as lengthy as they're prepared to stay under Dhimma status. this is a intently defined 2nd type status. right this is how Sheikh Marzouq Salem Al-Ghamdi, a Sunni Muslim defined the circumstances of Dhimma status in 2004: that they pay Jizya (one greater tax) to the Islamic treasury, that they do no longer renovate a church or monestary, do no longer rebuild ones that have been destroyed, that they feed for 3 days any Muslim who passes with the help of their properties...that they upward push while a Muslim desires to take a seat, that they do no longer imitate Muslims in gown and speech, nor journey horses, nor very own swords, nor arm themselves with any form of weapon; that they do no longer sell wine, do no longer prepare the bypass, do no longer ring church bells, do no longer boost their voices for the duration of prayer, that they shave their hair in front with a view to lead them to rather identifiable, do no longer incite absolutely everyone against Muslims and don't strike a Muslim

I'd soften your approach, I am a kid but I know a lot. Kids 10-13 absolutely hate grouchy people, and I think everyone does too. I'm now sayong your grouchy, except i'd soften your approach.

do you, girl. men don't always understand what it's like to be a woman and you have to be tough. a man who says you are playing hardball is just insecure.

well at some point you will have to give in a tad. keeps them always coming back for more. I believe you do a good job of making people want to come back for more. Although you are very overpowering at times.

Please, be yourself and accept that there are always going to be people out there who want you to change because they are intimidated...or for whatever reason. This guy clearly doesn't think he himself is assertive enough.
