Nah, it's just a war for profiteering for Halliburton, KBR, Carlyle, Exxon Mobil, Enron, Bechtel and many more others.

No, a war of terror is when you kill innocent civilians to achieve a political end. A war on terror is when you track down, disrupt, imprison, and kill terrorists to prevent the killing of innocent civilians.
There is an organization called al-Queda that is conducting a war of terror. They try to kill as many innocent people as possible. Their leader is a man called Osama bin Laden. On September 11, 2001, al-Queda destroyed a large building in New York City, using airplanes as weapons, and also attacked a building called the Pentagon in Washington D.C. These attacks killed thousands of innocent people, mostly civilian office workers. Al-Queda has also been responsible for embassy and subway bombings, and they are currently killing innocent people in a Middle Eastern country called Iraq, to prevent US-led forces from establishing a democratic government there.
The United States and its allies are trying to stop this organization, and despite the fact that the terrorists hide among civilians, we are trying to get the terrorists without harming the innocent civilians. We're pretty good at this, and we're making pretty good progress, but we still have a lot of work to do.
