About a month ago I got my penis pierced, and it still hasn't healed. Now I know what your going to say "go to the doctor!" Well I did, and he says that the infection is so bad that he has to remove some, well, uh, material. I was like, screw that I want another opinion, so I left. What should I do??? The pain is getting to be unbearable, and it hard to go to the bath room. But I don't want to lose any of my guy. He;s small enough as it is. Please advise!!!

I don't want to rub your face in it or anything (but I'm going to)...

What in the hell possessed you to get a hole drilled through your di.ck in the first place? Did you wake up one morning, stretch, and go "sheesh, life is boring. There's nothing on TV and what else is there to do?... I know! I'll go and get someone to poke a hole through my penis with a needle and that way I can wear some extra jewellery when I go out!!!" Yeah, great idea. Two thumbs up.

Let this be a lesson to you kiddies. Look at Mr Willy Go-bye-bye and try not to be so stupid yourselves when you grow up.

Oh and one more thing Einstein, you wouldn't happen to have a photo of the doctor's face the second you told him what you were there for, do you? That must have been a classic!

If you insist on a second opinion--which every patient is entitled too--do is As Soon As Possibly, otherwise "some material" may turn into A LOT OF MATERIAL which I assume will make you even less thrilled about the situation. It's very unforunate and I'm sorry that you're experiencing this.

Take the piercing out if you haven't already and pick up some antibiotic gel or cream from the drug store. Ask the clerk for whatever he or she would suggest to treat an infected cut without stinging.

Keep it clean and get to another doctor fast.

The first thing you should do is take the piercing out. Then I think that you should get your second opinion. If it's infected a doctor should be able to prescribe antibiotics to clear out the infection. If the second doctor tells you that he wants to "remove tissue" as well, ask what your other options are, and how affective they will be. If you don't get it treated soon it's likely that the infection will spread, and you may need to lose more tissue, or you may die. I would advise that you see a medical proffessional as soon as possible.

It seems like your choices are:

have some "material" removed

or

tolerate the pain and infection and the whole thing will fall off by itself.

by the way, when they don't get infected and all goes well, they are cool as hell.

Get another opinion from another doctor, and do so quickly before you are in a position to lose all of it due to infection.

Chow!!

I reckon you should def start by taking the piercing out and then getting it treated.you should try going back to the place you went to to get it pierced and speak to them, they should know about it.Also...did they not give you any products to use to prevent infections?

Why the hell did you get it pierced in the first place? That's freaky!
