I would be interested in hearing from students and parents about the nature of the school, the culture of learning and academic results. I am thinking of sending my son there.

Melbourne is a nice city. However most schools there are far outside the city center. So your child might feel stuck at the university and not experience Australian culture.

Besides that the classes are split in two sessions (one large lecture class, and then one smaller tutorial class) tutorials are nice because it allows for students to interact with each other and have more personalized learning experience.

I went to QUT in Brisbane, it was great. right in the city center and there's plenty of student housing near by. Also the cities there are remarkably safe and clean.

i went through group called "Australearn". they cost more but help with the transition there.
