You flip over the one you are dividing by and multiply instead.
So 5/6 divided by 2/3 becomes 5/6 times 3/2 which is 15/12 or 5/4

The key to success in dividing fractions is to remember
to "invert and multiply". When dividing by a fraction always
invert the divisor fraction, and then multiply as you normally
would multiply fractions. That is to multiply numerator by
numerator, and denominator by denominator into a new
resulting fraction. Then reduce the resulting fraction to its
lowest terms. That should alway give the correct results.

To divide fractions, change the division sign to multiplication and invert (flip) the second fraction.
Example: 1/4 divided by 1/3 becomes:
1/4 x 3/1
Multiply numerator with numerator, denominator x denominator, to get 3/4
When working with mixed numbers, change them to improper fractions, first. Also, check your final answer to see if it is in lowest terms. Many students forget that part.

You flip one side{I find it easier if you flip over the second fraction}, and then you multiply.
So say you have 2/3 \ 3/7
You flip around 3/7 to 7/3, and then you multiply. Hopefully you know how to multiply.
