okayyy, well my friend is having her birthday party at a restaurant on friday....i like her a lot, but I don't really know her friends that well. She has guys coming, too. I want to go, but I'm afraid I'll get left out. I'm pretty outgoing, but not as outgoing as her friends. What should I do? Should I go or not? *Answer quick because the party is in less than 5 days!

Go. At least, put in an appearance. If you feel uncomfortable after you are there for a fair amount of time, (whatever you feel is fair) you can always leave, and there is a chance you might have fun. So you have nothing to lose by going and making your friend know you thought enough of her by showing up for her day. I f you do decide to leave early, just tell your friend you aren't feeling well.
Good luck and I hope you have fun!!

The same thing happened to me but I still went to the party because if you feel like a stranger now what will happen if you didn't go to parties. Then you would be even stranger. So go and you'll meet new friends.

You should go but stay near your friend. Maybe when you get to know the other people better you should get closer to the other people at the party.

If your friend has invited you, you should go. Her other friends might also become your friends. What have you got to lose? Remember, every person is your friend. You just haven't met them all yet.
