We both signed up for this overseas excursion. In fact, she saw the sign up sheets and signed ME up. Then we both went for the interview. She was really nervous and wanted to go real badly, and I was much calmer partially because I hadn't made up my mind fully about whether going was a good idea, and I knew that if I got in, I'd be happy, but if not, I could see a bright side.

The results just came out on the school website (which I frequent and she doesn't). What do I do?

My mum has advised me not to tell her because it would upser her greatly. But she's going to find out from others in school tomorrow, and she knows i frequent the site.,

Also, other people who got in texted me telling me I got in, so I can't feign ignorance of the fact I'm in if my friend asks me infront of those people.

What should I do!?

text her and if she is really your friend she will be happy for you, but if she is really upset, which she probably will be at first, ask her if she wants to do something to get her mind off of it. you should tell her,

This is tough and going to be really hard on her. You went to the interview and passed the interview. Its not your fault you got picked. I am hoping that she will be happy for you, but dont count on it. Hopefully she will come around. Have fun on your trip!!!

Hold Up! If your friend wanted this "thing" more than you, you should be honest to your friend and tell her the truth. If she gets upset, don't worry she'll get over it...
