Either way. Folks in the south don't get very emotional or picky about the way you spell things.As long as you get the message across, it's fine. Why do you think I don't ever pick on YA questions for their spelling. Cause I have trouble too. Gotta use my spell check all the time. LOL (and you should see what spell check did with LOL)

I think the correct way would be--"y'all." It's short for "you all", and the apostrophe would be in the place of the missing letters.

i've used both but i believe it is y'all. since you all are the words being combined.

it can be both ways, but the prper one is y'all coz ur contracting the word you not the word all.
