i had done high school and had physics chemistry organic chemistry and biology i had done it from india and now want to become a pharamacist what corses i had to take and how many yeres it take to complete my course and enter into phamacy college

1 course of English, 2 courses of Social Sciences (Sociology or Psychology), 2 semesters of Human Anatomy and Physiology, 1 course of Microbiology w/lab, 1 course of Public Speaking, 1 semester of Arts (music, ....), 1 semester of Economics (Macro or Micro), 1 semester of Calculus, 1 semester of General Biology, 2 semesters of College Physics, 2 semester of College Chemistry w/lab, 2 semesters of Organic Chemistry w/lab (College level).

These are the pre-requisites for University of Minnesota. You are better off if you ask a counselor at the school that you want to apply to or check their website.

It all depends on the college you choose. They usually require about 60-90 semester units of specific courses. If your still in high school, the best thing to do is first go to a four year college, or you can choose a community college than transfer into a four year college and then after you get your BS, apply to the pharmacy schools. After this it will take about 3-4 years.

You can also go to community college for two years, take all the required courses, then apply to pharmacy school from there. It will be harder but you can save two years time.

It depends on the college. Look at the websites of the colleges you are considering for the information.

I believe you have to go to graduate school to become a full pharmacist.
